Short version: we only collect what we need to run the camp, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

What we collect and why

When you apply: your name, email, WhatsApp number, city, Instagram or other social media profile and your answers in the form. We use them to review your application, to contact you about the camp and, if you book, to organise your stay. Legal basis: steps prior to a contract and your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR).

When you book: your booking choice and payment status. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

Who sees it

Only the Simba Camp organisers. Our hosting provider (Hostinger) stores the data on our behalf, and Stripe processes payments.

How long we keep it

Applications that don’t lead to a booking are deleted after the festival season. Booking records are kept as long as tax law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it or to delete it. Write to matata@simba.camp. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.

Cookies

We use a single technical session cookie so forms work securely. No tracking, no ads.
